Teddysnorkel (2020)

Presented as part of Leon Gallery’s performance art series, Was, Is, Will Be, in May, 2020.

A collaboration with Phil Cordelli in which we meditate on what messages the future wants to speak into us. We were inspired by tardigrades.

We designed this piece over a 2 month process at the start of the COVID-19 lockdowns in Colorado, from February-April. Phil Cordelli designed the costumes; we collaborated on choreography, lighting, set design, and the sound score.

See it on Leon Gallery’s YouTube channel (there’s a small glitch and it begins with 10 seconds of the ending: the actual start of the piece is 15 seconds in)
